Lunar New Year Gift-a-Meal
The Year of the Rabbit has many themes, including longevity, peace, and prosperity. Above all, the Year of the Rabbit in 2023 represents hope. Join us in sending love to those in need with a donation to our Gift-a-Meal fund. In the Year of the Rabbit, we hope to grow and sustain our Gift-a-Meal campaigns, broadening our impact on merchants and the community, all of which is made possible thanks to donors like you. Our goal is to raise $23,000 between January 20 – February 20, 2023 to support these future efforts. |

ASSEMBLY for CHINATOWN: Restoration, Relocation and Removal of outdoor dining After many restaurants set up outdoor dining during COVID, the Manhattan Chinatown community is now experiencing unsafe and unpleasant streetscapes, such as overcrowded sidewalks and vandalized outdoor spaces. This has negatively affected the safety of its community and the health of the businesses in Chinatown. This Giving Tuesday, help A+A+A and Think!Chinatown fundraise to cover costs of Restoration, Relocation and Removal of outdoor dining structures. |

ASIAN PACIFIC AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH
For the month of May in honor of APAHM, Send Chinatown Love organized a series of community initiatives centered around the theme of BUILDING BRIDGES & MAKING CONNECTIONS. We chose this theme in light of recent events that have historically occurred and continue to occur – among the Asian hate crimes, subway shootings, and closure of our beloved small businesses, we are deprived of our right to feel safe in our communities. |

Send Chinatown Love: Digital Cookbook Launched in 2021, the Digital Cookbook was a collection of recipes from some of our early merchant partners. The product was designed to be digitally-accessible to all, offering a celebration of the many flavors beloved by New York’s Chinatown communities. The campaign raised $2060, from April to May 2021. |
2022 CAMPAIGN
Lunar New Year Gift-a-Meal
In the new year of the Tiger, we committed $150,000+ to fund Gift-a-Meal campaigns throughout the month of February 2022. We will be partnered with 30+ Chinatown merchants and 25+ community distribution partners to serve over 12,000 meals to low-income families, unhoused community members, and vulnerable seniors across NYC. |

SEND CHINATOWN LOVE LETTERS:
Special Edition Zine Send Chinatown Love Letters is a limited release 80-page collection full of poignant photography, visceral vignettes, mouthwatering recipes, longform features and intricate illustrations. This celebration of community, courage and culture is a collective outpouring of love from over 50 contributors to all of New York City’s vibrant Chinatowns. |

APAHM Gift-a-Meal
Throughout the month of May, Send Chinatown Love is directly addressing this through our APAHM Gift-a-Meal campaign. To honor the resilience of Chinatowns across NYC during APAHM, we’re committing $101,500 to fund Gift-a-Meal campaigns with 29 of our merchants. |
Friend of a Friend Studio x SCL 2021
For our one-year anniversary, we collaborated again with Friend of a Friend Studio to create a collection of styles in support of the Chinatown community. The Crane is a bringer of peace, longevity, and good fortune. And ours is in motion, with bright, colorful wings open. A symbol of the selfless love, the bold fight, the tireless spirit that keeps the heart of Chinatown beating. 100% of proceeds from sales are donated directly to support Chinatown/AAPI merchants and communities through Send Chinatown Love. |
