When Send Chinatown Love launched in 2020, we thought it would be a temporary project. Our goal was simple — to provide direct relief for the many struggling small businesses in NYC’s Chinatowns during the COVID pandemic. Now over three years later, Chinatown may no longer be in the headlines, but the need is still there. The community continues to face major challenges: gentrification, exploitation from billionaires, the mega jail, and more. Our 100% volunteer-run team is determined to continue supporting and uplifting Chinatown small businesses for the long run. And so can you. When you contribute to our Year-End Fundraiser, 100% of your donation will go directly towards Chinatown small businesses through our Gift-a-Meal and other programs. If we hit our campaign goal, this could fund over 1,700 meals for community members in need in 2024. The first $3,800 in donations will be matched, thanks to a few generous donors.
