OUR TEAMS
Strategy:
The Strategy team manages all parts that help us directly meet our mission, which is to serve the needs of our merchants, and the Chinatown community as a whole. The Strategy’s team purpose is to serve our mission and community by putting our merchants first.
Merchant Experience (MX):
The MX team performs outreach to Asian-owned small businesses across NYC, and builds relationships with them. They are the bridge between the merchants and Send Chinatown Love. Sub-teams include: Seller Empathy, Gift-a-Meal, and Business Development.
Product:
The Product team is responsible for ideating, designing, and building all of Send Chinatown Love’s products, ranging from the website to new apps, such as our Passport to Chinatown app created for our previous food crawls. Sub-teams include: Engineering & Design.
Marketing:
The Marketing team leverages digital channels to help organize our community around the cause that Send Chinatown Love supports, and to amplify the voices of our merchants. Sub-teams include: Communications (PR, Partnerships, Events) and Social Media (Youtube & TikTok; Facebook & Instagram; Twitter & LinkedIn; Email Marketing)
Operations:
The Ops teams helps keep the lights on and makes the rest of the organization operate as efficiently and as frictionless as possible. Sub-teams include: Finance, People, and Legal.
We recruit for our Send Chinatown Love team between January and February of each calendar year and on an as-needed basis for the rest of the year. Applications for our 2023 Team are now open!
